Marcia Harvey

Marcia Harvey, an African-American author, is most well-known for her ex-wife comedian and TV host Steve Harvey. She chose to keep her personal life a secret and out of the spotlight. Steve did not have the same level of success that the one he is now, however they were married for 14 years ago. Rumours are circulating around Hollywood regarding the reason for their breakup. Some believe that Steve Harvey was cheating, while others accuse him of choosing comedy as his profession. The tragic story of her life can be attributed to Steve's neglect of her as well as her two daughters when she was pregnant with her third baby. Despite the hardships she has faced she has carved out an impressive career out of fashion design and also in writing. Marcia Harvey was born to an African-American family. They weren't wealthy. Her first job was in Saks Fifth Avenue, a department store. Steve met her by a friend at their wedding reception. They were in love, and were married in the year 1980. The couple had twins in 1982, and Steve worked as an insurance salesperson. Steve was disillusioned with his work and decided to become an entertainer, specifically stand-up comedy. Steve and Marcia did not get together and later reports suggested that they'd been living apart since the year 1990. Marcia Harvey was famous for her divorce from Steve Harvey and marriage. Although the specifics of their divorce in 1994 are kept private, it is evident that Marcia was expecting their third child when things fell apart. Marcia was divorced in 1993. Marcia was forced to seek the courts following her divorce as well as Steve Harvey's rejection of payments for child support and alimony.
