Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18 of 1985 located in Los Angeles. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix's athletic talent was apparent from the time she began attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her first tryout she came third in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix signed a contract for an official career at Adidas in 2003. She later enrolled in University of Southern California to study elementary education. One year later Felix was awarded the first Olympic medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making a junior world record by sprinting 200 meters at 22.18 seconds. The youngest participant in the 200-meter race during the World Championships held in Helsinki in 2005. She was able to defend her record the following year, beating her the long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was a frequent competitor in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, as well as Tokyo. She always finished at the top of the podium in every event.
